Uw jeugdclub wil iets leren over astronomie?

Mijn basis verhaal duurt ongeveer 20 minuten.

Zoals amateur astronomen zeggen:

Clear skies!

P.S.

English version: ( Speaking English is no problem, and I do understand German and some Swedish.. )

Curious about the starry night sky?

You have always wanted to know something more about the night sky?
You want to know which stars there are to see in the evening sky?
Your youth club wants to learn something more about astronomy?
Your club, party or BBQ, outside under the evening sky, could use something extra ?
Why not learn something more about the stars and the Moon?

You can invite me for a first introduction to the night sky.
Or when the Moon is blocking the light of the stars, a first encounter with the Moon.
At the moment this is an offer for people living near Zwolle city .
I use a bicycle or a moped to trasport my telescopes.

My basic story.. takes about 20 minutes, After which I can  answer questions, (or you can ask questions during my talk).
I  usually need  a total of an hour. Longer is possible too.. There is enough to tell about the sky.
The idea is to show you how you can find the North using the Big Dipper,
and with that as a start, to show you what else you can see at the firmament.
With the naked eye, or using a simple pair of binoculars.
For example, the Pleiades, and the most famous constellations visible that day.
I'll adapt the level of my talk to that of the public.
I will bring a small telescope along if the subjects is to be the Moon.
.
Location, location ...
What I need is clear skies, and a dark place to watch them.
So no bright outdoor lamps, and street lights, a lawn in a park will do, or a dark back yard.
The more lights, the less stars..
When looking at the Moon light pollution is less of a problem.

Bad weather, daylight:
At times of cloud cover, or rain, or during the day,
I can show slides, using a memory stick,
you have to provide the computer plus beamer,
however I cannot take a projector or “Beamer” along on my Moped..
I can take memory sticks holding pictures with me.
So if you invited me, and there are no stars to be seen,
because it just started to rain, this could be an alternative.
Having a look at the Sun is also possible!

What I do bring along:
Some binoculars.
A laser pointer.
Some brochures.
A small table.
A barstool
My stories.
 A small telescope.

What you should bring along:
A simple pair of binoculars, 7 X 40, or 7 X 50, if possible with tripod, for your own use.
Something to sit on.
Don’t forget a warm coat , it can be chilly at night.

You can reach me via email or phone.

P.S.

To be clear, it is about astronomy, and not about astrology, horoscopes etc.

I have no knowledge of the second subject and can tell absolutely nothing about it.

What does it cost??

Donations are welcome. But basically the Moon rises for free, and so do the stars :)

So I'm not asking for money.

P.S 02  My spell checker sais everything is owlride ...  but if you disagree.. do tell me please  :)
